A former wine growers house, tastefully modernized to provide bright and spacious holiday accommodation for up to 6 people, although it would equally suit a couple looking for a relaxing break.

The ground floor is given over entirely to a garage and storage space. There is adequate space to park a medium sized car, which is a real bonus in busy holiday periods. Also in the garage there is a useful “retour de plage” walk in shower and a WC. The water heater and washing machine are also located in the garage. There is sufficient space to the rear of the ground floor for the table tennis table and the 4 bikes, which are available for guests to borrow.

Accessed by a tiled spiral stair case, the first floor has a large lounge/living area with comfortable seating for 6 people, including a double sofa bed. There is also a tv (UK Satellite & French Channels), a DVD player and a hifi. A French window in the lounge opens onto a small balcony overlooking the square to the front.

Adjoining the lounge area is a modern fully equipped kitchen with a small gas cooker with oven, a fridge, with small freezer compartment, and a microwave. The kitchen also has table and chairs to comfortably seat 6 people.



French doors lead from the kitchen directly on to a completely private sunny terrace, which means that outdoor eating could not be simpler. As the terrace is south facing, a canvas retractable canopy is provided, along with table and chairs and a BBQ. The terrace is completely enclosed making it very safe for children.

On the next level are the 2 bedrooms, one a double and the other a twin, together with a WC and shower. There is sufficient space for a travel cot (provided). Both bedrooms have windows making them extremely light and airy, although working shutters are also present for protection from the sun, when required.

Electric heating is provided for the cooler months of the year.

 

We tastefully replaced the furniture and accessories in the house for the 2007 season.
